Ground Zero offers the opportunity to explore the meaning and practice of nonviolence from a perspective of deep spiritual reflection, providing a means for witnessing to and resisting all nuclear weapons. 

Come enjoy some outdoor time in community, enhancing the grounds at Ground Zero Center.

9 a.m. to noon roll up your sleeves and weed, dig, prune, trim, plant and fuss in the garden and on the grounds at GZ. We have tools here, but bring your own if you prefer. Donations of perennials are welcome.

Bring a sack lunch and enjoy a picnic on the grass.

The Stewardship Council meets from 1:30-4:30 p.m. If you’re not on the SC, feel free to hang out and work in the garden.

At 6 p.m. enjoy the brand new AV system with a screening of “Iraq: The War We Left Behind.”
