Floyd Schmoe Peace Scholarship Recognizes Young Humanitarians
By Glen Milner The Floyd Schmoe Peace Scholarship was awarded to three recipients in the Seattle Peace Park on July 1, 2021. Elsabeth Assaye (Roosevelt High School) Nelson Kuang (Franklin High) Aviv Pinker (Garfield High School) Each of the students received an award and $2,000. All three recipients have been involved in numerous activities for the social good as well as in school programs involved in social issues.
