Ground Zero WA

We know there are times we inconvenience you and even invite your bad thoughts about us. However, our intent and our mission is to make visible the weapons you help to deploy, not to make your lives any more difficult than they already are.

We are aware that most all of you make great sacrifices to be able to serve in the capacities you do, or you are retired from years of service. Many of you have families you are raising. We know many stories of how some of you joined the Navy as a way to serve our country and get an education. Many of us have personal friends among you. A number of us are former military ourselves.

We also know that many of you support our efforts to speak clearly about the horror of nuclear war. And we know that many of you would be much happier in your Navy jobs if there were no nuclear weapons on the base.

We would love to hear from you, anonymously or otherwise, about your life with the Navy.

We deeply appreciate your dedication. And our entire community relies on your ability to keep these weapons safe from accidents, misuse or theft.

We thank you for the service you give to our country. We join you in praying that these weapons are never used. And we invite you to join us in eliminating these weapons of mass destruction.
