Eyewitness Ukraine: Talk by Peter Lumsdaine

Peter Lumsdaine, a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility, National Committee to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, traveled to Ukraine in April with the Zaporizhzhia Protection Project (ZPP). ZPP seeks to establish a conflict-free zone around Europe’s largest nuclear power plant to avert a military and environmental catastrophe. Peter will discuss the delegation’s findings and the broader situation in Ukraine, the war’s escalation, and its global implications. He’ll describe interviews with Ukrainian refugees, miners, factoryworkers, journalists, teachers, church and community leaders, former Russian citizens, soldiers, and Ukrainian anti-war dissenters.
